A bit about me

I began my regular yoga practice in 2007. Fast forward a number of years and many hours of study and practice, I decided to take the plunge and dive into teacher training in 2014 and I've been teaching at a number of locations across Lancashire ever since. I'm now a Yoga Alliance Professionals Senior Yoga Teacher and Yoga Medicine Therapeutic Specialist, with additional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine, myofascial release, restorative yoga, trauma-informed yoga and yoga nidra. 

I specialise in teaching yin yoga, yoga nidra and gentle yoga with a focus on providing you with plenty of time to rest, relax and take a break from all the busyness, activity and stresses of everyday life. When you come to one of my classes, you'll be encouraged to practise at your own pace and develop your connection between your body, mind and spirit. My wish is that you experience a greater sense  of ease and that you leave class feeling calm, soothed and refreshed.  

I offer weekly classes in Preston, regular yin yoga sessions and workshops,  yoga nidra workshops and yoga retreats. I've taught for the NHS as part of its Recovery College and Lancashire Wellbeing programmes, Versus Arthritis as part of the Preston group's monthly meetings and a number of major local employers including Forbes Solicitors and Laing O'Rourke.
